Headspace

Netflix's Headspace series introduces audiences to guided meditation. My role involved quality-checking the work produced by freelancers and serving as the final reviewer before delivering the graphics for both commissioned episodes to Netflix. Additionally, I created the final graphic for the episode, which consisted of a 10-minute long shot displayed on the screen during the guided meditation. This position required me to take on the roles of both designer and producer, addressing any issues that arose promptly and ensuring high-quality results.

Project brief

The main goal of the graphic was to create a non-disruptive visual that complemented the soft, peaceful narration accompanying the viewer's guided meditation. After several proposals, we agreed that the episode would transition to a scene featuring clouds gently passing across the screen, with the Headspace logo gradually moving to the center over the course of the 10-minute shot.

Project brief

Using the same brief as the continuous clouds, this proposal aimed to have the Headspace logo gradually drawn out over the course of a 10-minute shot. The edges of the stroke were designed to resemble ink on paper, and several iterations of the rotation were implemented to account for the random movement. The final outcome featured a circle that developed into the Headspace logo.
